Zach

Originally from North Buffalo, I have built my expertise in Strength and Conditioning. I have a Masters in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo and am currently pursuing a PhD in the same field. Between being a D1 collegiate rower, working as a Strength Coach for the Jr. Sabres Organization, and working with the UB football team, I have a very diverse understanding of sport and movement. My philosophy is that to be an elite athlete you must understand the way your body moves and functions for the goals you intend to accomplish. Along with this, I live by the ancient Greek word “Arete,” referring to a full realization of one’s greatest potential and moral virtue.

One of the core reasons I got into the field is my belief in the ways Strength and Conditioning can help an athlete in and out of sport. Strength and Conditioning gives athletes a modality outside of their sport that increases their individual performance. It also increases their ability to understand their greatest potential in life.
